What is the Gospel? (Mark 1:14-15)
14 Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.” (NKJV)
14 After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God. 15 “The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” (NIV)
14 Later on, after John was arrested by King Herod, Jesus went to Galilee to preach God’s Good News.15 “At last the time has come!” he announced. “God’s Kingdom is near! Turn from your sins and act on this glorious news!” (LB)
14-15 After John was arrested, Jesus went to Galilee preaching the Message of God: “Time’s up! God’s kingdom is here. Change your life and believe the Message.” (MSG)
