Ifeanyichukwu Igwilo Onah is an Anglican priest serving as a canon with Enugu Diocese, having been ordained in 2007. He is happily married with 6 children and is a Multiplying Trainer for the Saline Process serving with CMDA Nigeria (Christian Medical and Dental Association of Nigeria) and HCFN (Healthcare Christian Fellowship of Nigeria) since 2020.
He is a consultant Plastic Surgeon and the Head of Department at National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu. He is also a Professor of Plastic Surgery at the Institute of Orthopaedics and Plastic Surgery, Abia State University Uturu.
He started his pastoral duties after his ordination, briefly here at Chapel of His Resurrection, before being transferred to Chapel of Pentecost, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, New Haven Enugu, as one of the chaplains. In 2017, he was transferred back to Chapel of His Resurrection where he served as an Assistant Chaplain.
He transferred back to Chapel of Pentecost, Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, New Haven Enugu, on Wednesday, 1st October, 2025, as the Vicar/Chaplain in charge.
And on Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Third Session of the Nineteenth Synod of the Diocese of Enugu, held at St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Ogbete, Enugu, the Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Enugu, the Rt. Rev’d Prof. Samuel O. Ike preferred him an Archdeacon.
